Every post on this blog is written by me. The ideas, opinions, structure, and words are mine. But I do use AI tools as part of my writing process, and I think it’s fair to be transparent about that.
What I use AI for
- Spelling and grammar — I run my drafts through AI to catch typos, grammatical errors, and awkward phrasing, especially since I write in English as a non-native speaker.
- Review and feedback — I ask AI to review my posts for clarity, consistency, and completeness before publishing.
- Structure and outlining — When I have a topic in mind but haven’t decided on the best way to present it, I sometimes use AI to help me sketch out an outline.
- Suggestions — AI occasionally helps me think through how to explain a concept or find a better way to phrase something.
- Images and diagrams — Some images or diagrams in my posts are AI-generated. I review and adjust them before including them.
- Code snippets — I sometimes use AI to generate code examples, which I then verify and adapt.
What I don’t use AI for
- Writing the actual post — I don’t paste a prompt and publish whatever comes out. I write every post myself.
- Forming opinions — My technical opinions come from hands-on experience, not from a language model.
- Research — I verify facts and claims myself rather than trusting AI-generated information at face value.
